Description
BLS Instructor Essentials Online is the self-directed, online portion of the BLS Instructor Essentials blended learning course.
Prepares Instructor Candidates to:
- teach American Heart Association Instructor-led and Blended Learning BLS Provider courses
- use Heart Association Instructor teaching materials
- ensure that students meet learning objectives
- offer student coaching skills
- provide an objective skills performance evaluation
- follow Heart Association Instructor and course policies
This course includes a Core module information about instructing Heart Association BLS Provider courses, followed by course-specific information.
NOTE: The online Core module only needs to be completed once. If you have completed the Core module while taking another Instructor Essentials course, it will be marked as completed when taking any additional Instructor Essentials courses.
