The BLS Instructor Essentials DVD contains the videos needed to conduct the classroom-based portion of the Association’s BLS Instructor Essentials Course.
This product replaces American Heart Association product 20-1134 (BLS Instructor Essentials Course DVD).
The BLS Instructor Essentials Course prepares Instructor candidates to teach Association Instructor-led and blended learning BLS Provider courses. It educates Instructor candidates on how to:
- use Association Instructor teaching materials
- ensure that students meet learning objectives
- offer student coaching skills
- provide an objective skills performance evaluation
- follow Association Instructor and course policies
The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach Association courses.
