ACLS Instructor Essentials DVD contains the videos needed to conduct the classroom-based portion of the American Heart Association’s ACLS Instructor Essentials Course.

The ACLS Instructor Essentials Course is designed to:

• prepare Instructor Candidates to teach Heart Association Instructor-led and Blended Learning ACLS Provider courses
• educate Instructor Candidates on how to use Heart Association Instructor teaching materials
• ensure that students meet learning objectives
• offer student coaching skills
• provide an objective skills performance evaluation
• follow Heart Association Instructor and course policies

The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach Heart Association courses.
