Description

This CPR rate monitor provides a visual confirmation of the proper rate of compressions when used with a Prestan Professional Adult Manikin. In addition to the visual feedback provided by beige monitors installed before May 2016, the blue monitor will rapidly flash the yellow light when the 120-per-minute compression rate is reached, indicating that the student is compressing too fast, which is consistent with the 2020 American Heart Association ECC Guidelines recommendation of a maximum level of 120 compressions per minute. Monitors can be used to update previous versions of Prestan Professional Adult manikins that were purchased with monitors, or can be installed in Prestan Professional Adult manikins that were purchased without monitors.
